Job Details
- Aid residents in applying for benefits such as food stamps, general relief, and Medicaid, as requested.
- Act as liaison between residents, management, and social service agencies as requested and indicated.
- Assist and advise residents and families of the services which may be helpful/necessary to maintain an independent living lifestyle.
- Educate residents, families, and staff on available community resources, including service availability, application procedures, and resident rights; both individually and as a group.
- Meet with service providers as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by QASCA/management.
- Prior related experience required
- Prior experience working with a Senior population is helpful
- Some supervisory experience may be desirable
- Case Management experience helpful
- Computer literacy is required
- 10 holidays per year
